Final CAD Design

3D Modeling

Using SketchUp or another CAD software, create a 3D model based on your orthographic projection of the golf ball stencil.

Try to be as precise as possible when using the software and compensate for any 'shrinkage' of the plastic that you will use when 3D printing the final product. Alternatively, it is possible to calibrate for shrinkage directly on the 3D printer. In the case of this stencil, it is important to get a snug fit between the ball and the stencil so that when marking the ball with the marker there is no bleeding around the edges of the stencil.
